Flame Tamer

Something different for a change. He can create these fire animals that fight for him. Really wanted to emphasize his chest gathering all the air. The whole motion and lines lead toward the mouth where the fire bursts out.

 And a traveling superhero, wish I developed this a little further. He discovered his power sometime in the 19th century when he built this timetraveling device. Now he gathers all sorts of stuff whatever time he goes to. Tried out a more silhouette based approach for this concept. It allows you to come up with shapes that you wouldn't just think of when you're drawing. I think this method is especially valid digitally because it is a little easier to get those happy accidents than with using line. I do feel like I come up with better designs when I use line thumbnails but focus on silhouette heavily.
