Environments

Some recent environment work.

Android on the run after another human riot against AIs.
I like to do traditional thumbnails in pen before I start. It loosens me up and I feel like I come up with more organic compositions.

Tried a somewhat diffferent style for this painting.

And some Rhea concept art.

The two towers

For Architecture class; we had to create two towers. I decided to create a high tech and a low tetch tower, that both serve the same purpose of a base for flying "apartments". One would be in the center of a crowded city, the other one, a refuge for outcasts, would be in the desert.

Architecture

We had to create a building inspired by the patterns of a prayer rug, but kept in a certain architecture style. I think that is a very valid approach to create something fresh and new. Although I feel like I could have pushed this further by not sticking to an already existing architecture style as much (in this case the Tibetan influence is pretty obvious.)
This is the rug. I felt really in awe of the amount of detail and interesting patterns in the rug. So I wanted to create a building that creates a sense of awe as well. I pulled the plan of my building from the layout of the rug, the Asian roof structure from what I believe is supposed to be plants on the rug and all of the ornaments on my building can be found in the rug.

Engine Overload

And some architecture: Learning about plans and sections by merging two from separate buildings.

School started

Quick dump of a few sketches for LCAD classes. These had to be architectural pieces inspired by a certain given muse.

I also started working on Core Overload. It's pretty much a topdown Multiplayer spaceship shooter with a lot of customizable ships. These are some ideations for engines by a very sleek and fast high tech manufacturer. Looking forward a lot to this!
